Welcome to Dodo Antiques

Dodo Antiques is an innovative and experienced collective of specialist antique dealers, many of whom are well known for their expertise in a particular field. Arranged over approximately 2000 square feet in a beautiful period building, you will find our friendly and knowledgeable Staff have created a relaxed atmosphere in which you can enjoy browsing amongst our fully comprehensive range of stock, where we are sure you will find something to suit everyone’s taste and budget. We pride ourselves on the high quality of the items we sell and also on our ability to locate unusual and unique objects. Our search service is available if you cannot see what you want in our constantly changing stock. We are happy to ship world wide and can arrange a finance facility for purchases over £500. House clearance and restoration are also part of our fully complimentary service. Dodo Antiques has a charity cabinet dedicated to selling items for the RSPCA, the NSPCC and Mercy in Action where items sold from donations are free of commission.

We are situated in the historic market town of Olney, which has much to offer for an interesting day out. Olney is close to the M1, (Central London 1 ¼ hrs) A5 and A428 and is within easy reach of Bedford, Northampton and Milton Keynes. There is good parking very close to the shop, which is next to the market place, and a spacious loading area to the side. A stroll around the market place can offer a visit to the famous Cowper Newton Museum or one of the many specialist independently owned shops, selling everything from jewellery to high quality cookware and oriental rugs. There are two other Antique Centres in Olney for those who follow the collector’s ‘trail’. Emberton Park is a short drive from the centre of town, with its lake and pleasant walks. Olney’s traditional pubs, teashops and delicatessen are renowned for their home cooked food and comfortable surroundings and make a good place to contemplate a special purchase or enjoy a new one.
