An antique, Chinese, (probably Ming), pillar medallion, the russet veined and deep celadon piece carved with two oval cartouches depicting various characters, longevity motif, scroll borders in between with line engraved borders to the top and the bottom. 6.5 cm tall.

  This item was collected by an Englishman who worked in China under Lord Trevelyan between 1952-55.
